Embody Stillness: Asana as Meditation

with Nicoline Valkenberg
A special yoga series exploring the intersection of meditation and postural practice.
In this series, we’ll approach asana not just as movement, but as a meditative discipline — a way of grounding awareness deeply in the body. Each session will weave together seated meditation with slow, alignment-based flow, guiding you to inhabit each shape with clarity, precision, and presence. Through mindful engagement with form and breath, we’ll cultivate a still, steady attention that moves with us — from the cushion into the pose, from posture into presence.
While this is not a fast-paced vinyasa — you will have the option to explore your edge in more challenging postures, with modifications offered as needed. This contemplative, embodied practice is designed to refine your awareness, deepen your alignment, and support your nervous system. Open to practitioners of all levels who are curious about how yoga can become a living meditation, both on and off the mat.
